Sketches of Architectures
The work of an architect begins with a sketch and the setting down of the inner visual concept as a design in order to fully communicate to the client the possibilities which could be achieved. For me the initial drawings and architectural designs have great significance because they have their own artistic value. All the lines which are woven together, whether broken or flowing, the coloured areas, the letters and the numbers that indicate captions and measurements, these all make up a composition which has its own rhythm and musicality, swaying between abstractionism, metaphysical spaces and unconscious tensions and unrest.
The relationship between architecture and its representation was also part of my university thesis and has always been present in my professional life.
